American Greetings Announces Partnership with Kathy Davis Studios
Work of Popular Artist Will Be Available In Company-Owned and Supplied Stores

Cleveland, Ohio (June, 2008) – American Greetings Corporation (NYSE: AM) has announced a partnership with Kathy Davis Designs, Inc. and Kathy Davis Studios, to exclusively distribute the popular artist’s work across a broad range of product lines beginning in 2009. Through this agreement, American Greetings will offer a wide distribution of Davis’ work to please her existing fans, as well as introduce her to a new audience.

Davis began her work in the greeting card industry in 1990 when she created her company and licensed her art to several greeting card publishers. Today, Davis is a well-recognized industry leading artist, writer and designer. Ever evolving, yet enduring, Davis’ range of imagery and expressive colors is fresh and captivating, and her sentiments focus on optimism and joy. The uplifting power of her art has created a brand that retailers embrace and consumers seek out and cherish.
